List of Current Bugs, Fixes and Issues
Version 1.0.2.0
1. FIX: Compare Bank
In version 1.0.1.0 the Compare Bank feature was added. But when the items that
were different were listed, each item number was off by one. This is fixed in
1.0.2.0.
Version 1.0.1.0
1. New Feature: Combi Helper
When you copy a Combi TritonLib will compare all of the Programs that are used
by the Combi. If they are present and identical in both the source and
destination PCG files, no prompting will occur. If a program is missing or
different between the two PCG files, then a "wizard" will appear that
allows you to copy the programs (if they exist in both the source or
destination) or notifies you which programs cannot be resolved because they are
missing from one of the PCG files. See the
Advanced Features section of the
manual for more information.
2. New Feature: Speed Copy
If you select an item from the source PCG file and double-click an item in the
destination PCG file, it will copy the item, and move the selection in both
listboxes down by one. So if you want to copy a sequential group of items you
can just double click a series of items in the destination (right side)
listbox. See the
Advanced Features section of the
manual for more information.
3. New Feature: Compare Bank
There is no button to do this, but in the edit menu there is an item labled
"Compare source bank to destination bank". This produces a dialog box
describing which items are different in the source bank and destination bank.
See the
Advanced Features section of the
manual for more information.

Version 0.9.2.0
1. New Feature: MOSS Support
The new version now supports MOSS program data and files that contain MOSS
data.
2. FIX: Arp and Drum Kit Banks not Indicated Correctly
Originally, if the PCG contained multiple Arp or Drum Kit banks these were
not labled correctly either in the combo box or in reports. This has been
fixed.
3. FIX: Listbox Format
The listbox in the previous version included the data type (such as
"Program") which may have prevented the entire name of the patch
from appearing. The data type is no longer shown in the listbox,
but it can be seen in the combo box above the listbox.
4. New Feature: Copy Bank
A button and a menu item have been provided to allow copying an entire bank.
If the data types are the same, but the bank size are different it will not
allow you to copy. Arp Bank A/B is a different size from Arp Bank C and
Arp Bank D.
See the
Advanced Features section of the
manual for more information.
5. New Feature: Fill Bank
A button and a menu item have been provided to allow filling an entire bank
with a patch.
See the
Advanced Features section of the
manual for more information.
6. New Feature: Properties
A button and a menu item have been provided to allow viewing and changing
some properties on destination patches. For Programs and Combis you can
change the name, category and tempo. For Drum Kits and Arps you can only
change the name.
See the
Advanced Features section of the
manual for more information.
7. New Feature: Default Blank Template
In the new version when you start the program you will see that there is
already destination data. This includes Program Bank A filled with the
Acoustic Piano patch, and Combi A filled with a Combi that uses only the
Acoustic Piano patch.
8. FIX: Misc.
Made minor usability changes. Improved prompting and improved the icon.
Also the download file is now zipped.
Version 0.9.1.1
1. BUG: Combis
Fixed in a later version!
Combis use up to eight Programs each. A Combi will not sound the same unless
all of the Programs it uses are present in the same locations. With the
current product it is possible to copy a Combi and have it sound completely
different because different sounds are in the locations it uses.
The current version of TritonLib does not warn you of this. It is
planned that a future version will assist you in ensuring that the Combi
will sound correct in the destination PCG.
2. BUG: Categories
If you have changed the Category names for Programs or Combis (you can do this
in the Triton's Global area), the modified Category names will not appear
in Reports. The default category names are always shown.
3. BUG: Report Filenames
Reports default to "Report.txt". They should default to the name of the
PCG file with a .txt extension. If I am editing PRELOAD.PCG the report
should be named PRELOAD.txt by default.
4. BUG: MOSS Data
Fixed in a later version! Loading PCGs that contain MOSS data
causes an error message.
